*Sandy Jolliffe has been a valued member of the IBPOA executive since 2009 but finds it necessary to step down at this time for personal reasons. For the past year Sandy has done an admirable job as secretary on the executive, setting a standard of excellence that will be hard to duplicate. The association owes Sandy a large debt of gratitude for her service over the past two years.
*An email news section has been added to the Newsletter page of this website. All email news sent to you will be posted here as well and will be kept online for a minimum of two years.
*An open house for the renewal of the official plans for Lion's Head, Ferndale and Tobermory was held at the Ferndale Park & Information Center on August 27. One of the interesting documents available for review was the Lion's Head Community Toolkit. If you can sort through the "motherhood" statements in this document you will find some interesting ideas that might be in the works for Lion's Head. You may or may not be in favour of some or all of the things suggested so now is the time to make your thoughts known to the planners. You can see the document at the following link:

*Minutes for the 2011 AGM plus the financial report for 2010 have been posted to the website and can be found at the above links. Also the list of the executive has been upated to include new directors Fred Heise and Bill Marshall. Welcome to the executive Fred and Bill.

*The IBPOA Constitution and Bylaws, approved at the July 9, 2011 AGM have been posted to the website. The document includes revision in wording concerning the membership year as discussed and approved at the AGM. The document can be found at the following link -

*The proposed updated IBPOA Constitution and Bylaws have been posted to the website as well as being hand delivered to all members with the June 2011 newsletter. It is important that all members review this proposed document and be prepared to vote on its acceptance or rejection at the 2011 AGM. It can be found at the following link -
